Why we built it
Grooming a nervous dog at a salon is expensive for you and stressful for the animal. Most home clippers make it worse: they are loud, they vibrate hard, and a dog that panics at the sound is a dog you will never groom twice. So the brief was simple — quiet enough that a nervous animal tolerates it, safe enough for someone who has never held clippers, and built well enough to outlast a season.
We tested it on our own pets before we sold a single unit. If it had not worked on a genuinely anxious dog, there would be no store.
Our warehouse
We hold our own inventory at our fulfilment warehouse at 5115 S Shaver St, Houston, TX 77034. That matters more than it sounds. Stock sitting on our shelves is stock we can ship the same week, inspect before it goes out, and take back if you return it — none of which is true of a store that forwards your order to an overseas supplier and hopes.
Orders typically arrive in 2–5 business days anywhere in the US. Shipping is free with no minimum. You pick FedEx or UPS at checkout, and you can follow the parcel on our own tracking page rather than pasting a number into a foreign carrier’s site.
How we check quality
Units are inspected here before they ship. We are not forwarding sealed boxes we have never opened — if a blade assembly is off or a charger is missing, it gets caught in Houston rather than in your living room.
What is actually in the box, and what it does:
- Under 55dB — quieter than normal conversation. This is the single reason noise-sensitive and rescue dogs tolerate it when they will not tolerate salon clippers.

Every kit is covered for 30 days. If it is not right for your dog, email us and we will refund it. Return shipping is the customer’s cost — we would rather state that plainly here than bury it three screens into a policy page. Full terms are in our refund policy.
About our reviews
We only publish reviews from customers who actually bought and received a kit. Every review link is sent after delivery and tied to a real order, so nothing on this site was written by someone who never owned the product.
The honest consequence: we have fewer reviews than stores that buy them in bulk. We would rather have fewer and have them be real.
